Having two terms of experience as your city councillor, I will continue to build strong relationships with our residents and business community.
Becoming President of SILGA gives me additional regional influence on local matters.
I will advocate for Kamloops at the Provincial table, not just City Hall, so I can lobby for a fair deal from Victoria on housing, infrastructure and downloading of costs.
Public Safety and community confidence
I will push for visible and consistent community policing and demand repeat offender accountability.
Continue to advocate for additional voluntary & involuntary care facilities in the interior.
Housing
Cut red tape for multifamily and rental builds.
Continue to push the Province for infrastructure funding to match growth.
Keep taxes predictable, while investing where it matters.
I will leverage my SILGA role to secure Provincial dollars.
Economic strengths and jobs
As President of the Airport Society I will continue the development of the airport lands and industrial zones to support future air and ground opportunities.
Reduce barriers for small business
Promote Kamloops as an Interior Hub
As your City Councillor, I now sit at a Regional Leadership table with a direct line to Provincial decision makers.
This will allow me to advocate for Kamloops and the Southern Interior.
